How long have you been in business?
The Bathery has been providing electrolysis services to the Eastside for over 15 years. We have been providing skincare services since 2008. Since we have been in business we have been voted in the Top 5 Best Facials in the Best of Western Washington.
What is your primary product or service?
We see a large amount of clients for electrolysis, but our skincare clientele is beginning to catch up. Our primary skincare product line is Bioelements Professional Skincare.
How did you first become interested in your line of business? (if owner) - What is your background? (If owner or store manager)
As the owner of The Bathery, Cassandra Lanning has been interested in skincare from an early age. Working as an electrologist led into work as a laser hair removal specialist which brought with it more in depth knowledge of skin, so becoming an esthetician was a natural progression.
How do you differentiate yourself from other businesses in your category and area?
The Bathery sets itself apart from other spas because we do provide permanent hair removal via electrolysis. We also provide sugaring services which not all spas do. Plus we offer a monthy facial club for a reduced rpice as well as offer affordable non-club facial traetments. All of our facials include the use of the latest in high-tech hand-held equipment at no extra charge. Hence, our tagline, "Spa services for the overeducated and underpaid".
How many locations do you have and do you have plans to expand?
We have one location in Juanita and plan to open a second room in the fall, offering Infra-red Sauna to our clients.
Provide detailed directions to your location
DIRECTIONS: From I-405 northbound take the 116th St. exit and turn left at the light at the end of the off-ramp. Continue west on 116th towards Juanita for about a mile and a half. At the bottom of the hill is a large intersection where you will see Michael's ahead to the left, go straight through this intersection. Get in the left turn lane at the end of the road median, and turn left into the building's parking lot. If the upper lot is full, there is an underground garage under the building with an elevator that goes up into the building. From I-405 southbound take the 124th St. exit. Go right at the intersection onto 124th and follow to 100th. Take a left onto 100th and head south until you see the Michaels. Take a right at this intersection. Get in the left turn lane at the end of the road median, and turn left into the building's parking lot. If the upper lot is full, there is an underground garage under the building with an elevator that goes up into the building.
What type of payments do you accept?
Cash, check, money order, Visa, Mastercard, Discovery. All new clients recieve a 10% discount on their first service.
