How long have you been in business?
Jim Price (85% partner) has been in real estate appraisal (beginning at the WA Hwy. Dept's Bellevue office) since 1986. After working in Oregon and Alaska for 12 years, he returned to Bellevue. In 1986, he moved back to the Eastside, and took on a partner in 1994, forming Appraisal Group of the Northwest LLP.
What is your primary product or service?
Real Estate Appraisal
How do you differentiate yourself from other businesses in your category and area?
We appraise all types of real estate, and are experienced at valuation of partial acquisitions. Our appraisers have been in the field for many years, or are apprenticed to one who has. Our commercial and right of way reports are double or triple checked, usually by Jim Price and a separate professional editor. We try to provide quality reports our clients can rely on, and are willing to listen if there is a concern.
How many locations do you have and do you have plans to expand?
One--in Bellevue (not including home offices).
Provide detailed directions to your location
We are located in the Rockwood Office Park near BelRed & 140th Ave. NE. From NE 14th Street one block south of Bellevue-Redmond Road, the entrance to the office park is indicated by a sign. We are located in the 1409 Building immediately northeast of the "T." There parking in front and under the building accessible from the north side. The main (east) door is at grade with our office space.

Who owns your company or runs daily operations?
Jim Price, MAI, SR/WA, is the 85% general partner and trains appraisers. Glenn Price, Becky Stenzel, and Rick Westman are each 5% partners, as well as appraisers with many years of experience.
What are your hours of operation?
Office hours: 9:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. Appraisers are in charge of their own schedules, and may make appointments outside those hours at the clients' convenience.
