How long have you been in business?
We have been in business for 31 Years since October of 1980. We incorporated the business in 1985.
What is your primary product or service?
We pick up and deliver air freight.
How did you first become interested in your line of business? (if owner) - What is your background? (If owner or store manager)
I was interested in flying and the training became too expensive so I completed a two year Associates Degree in Aviation Business Management courses in college.
How do you differentiate yourself from other businesses in your category and area?
We have one of the largest coverage areas of our industry. We are ahead of the curve in technology with the availability of real-time shipment status online. Trained professional drivers and customer service representatives. We offer flexability and communications with integrity unmatched by others in our industry.
How many locations do you have and do you have plans to expand?
We have one location in Kent,WA, another in Portland, OR and are affiliated with 35 other locations in major cities throughout the U.S.
What type of payments do you accept?
We accept preapproved company checks, money orders and certified checks. Cash is also accepted.
Which areas do you service?
Our daily service area is along the I-5 corridor from the Canadian border central Oregon to the South. We cover Bremerton, Silverdale, Poulsbo and Kingston to the West and to the foothills of the Cascade Mountains to the East. In addition to this regular coverage we also do Hotshot deliveries to anywhere in WA, OR, ID, and western MT when trucks and drivers allow.
Who owns your company or runs daily operations?
Action Courier is owned by Tom and Lisa Bartholomew. The daily operations are coordinated by Brian Bartholomew, President.
What are your hours of operation?
We open for business at 7:00am and close when done @ 9:00pm daily Monday thru Friday. We are on call all other times.
