How long have you been in business?
Heston Technical was established October of 1984.
What is your primary product or service?
Home automation & integration and home theater along with audio distribution.
How did you first become interested in your line of business? (if owner) - What is your background? (If owner or store manager)
My background is in electronics first working for the Air Force on avionics systems on the F-111D, then lead test technician for Boeing. Magnolia Hi-Fi hired me to start their Custom Installation division. I knew I had found the career I was passionate about.
How do you differentiate yourself from other businesses in your category and area?
We have always been sensitive to the customers needs. I see ourselves being facilitators to help answer questions and guide the process of a custom installation.
How many locations do you have and do you have plans to expand?
One location and I choose to remain small.
What type of payments do you accept?
Check or credit cards.
Which areas do you service?
Western Washington.
Who owns your company or runs daily operations?
Scott Heston.
What are your hours of operation?
Monday through Friday 8:00 am to 5:00 pm.
