XKL has been in business in Redmond and here in Kirkland for over 20 years.
What is your primary product or service?
Our primary products are high-speed optical networking systems as used by enterprises and service providers. Modern systems like this provide the cloud networking for enterprises and the Internet backbone for us all, using advanced optical DWDM technology. A single fiber optic cable pair can carry over 80 simultaneous 10 Gigabit-per-second channels.
How did you first become interested in your line of business? (if owner) - What is your background? (If owner or store manager)
Our owner, Len Bosack, was a co-founder of Cisco and an original pioneer of Ethernet high-speed connections.
How do you differentiate yourself from other businesses in your category and area?
Our aim is to keep our technology robust and as simple as possible, so that our customers stay as future-proof as we can make them.
