SDI’s accelerometers offer full scale sensitivity from 2g to 20,000 g. Within the standard range (2 to 400g), most accelerometers can continue in spec. operation after exposure of up to 10,000 g and limited temperature exposure above 200°C.
SDI’s chips and modules are used in equipment and part calibration; crash detection; stability testing; vibration analysis in race cars, shipping containers, and airplane engines; and monitoring structural integrity in bridges, hydroelectric power generators, & wind farm turbines. SDI’s miniature accelerometer technology is currently used by the US Military, NASA, and in the automotive, transportation, and agricultural industries.
