How long have you been in business?
We've been creating gardens in King County since 1937.
What is your primary product or service?
We are a design and installation landscaping company. We work with home owners to create a plan and then build a garden landscape that suits their entertaining, relaxing, gardening and maintenance needs. We can address sustainable, useable space, retaining, sprinkler, drainage, lawn, patio and deck requests.
How did you first become interested in your line of business? (if owner) - What is your background? (If owner or store manager)
Rodda and Sons was started by Stewart Rodda and then passed down to two of his sons, Barry and Foster. Foster relocated and now owns Rodda and Sons West (serving South Western WA.) Barry stayed near Normandy Park and continued running the original business.
How do you differentiate yourself from other businesses in your category and area?
Rodda and Sons Landscapes works on residential installation projects. We have been in business for 75 years with a reputation for doing high quality work. Our designer and foremen are knowledgeable and committed to creating the best quality results within the customers budget.
How many locations do you have and do you have plans to expand?
We are located in SeaTac and serve most of King County.
Who owns your company or runs daily operations?
We are a family owned and operated business.
What are your hours of operation?
We work normal business hours and can arrange to meet with customers at the job site at their convenience.
