How did you first become interested in your line of business? (if owner) - What is your background? (If owner or store manager)
I became interested in nutrition while studying a premed curriculum at University of Washington
How do you differentiate yourself from other businesses in your category and area?
Most dieticians and nutritionists aren't trained to look at the digestion aspect of nutrition. Digestive problmes is one of my areas of expertise
How many locations do you have and do you have plans to expand?
I have a office in Redmond, but I do about half of my consultations internationally by Internet phone
Provide detailed directions to your location
The address is 8226 196th Ave. NE Redmond, WA 98053. Coming from Seattle, take Hwy 520 to Redmond. Stay in the left lane and you will come to a stoplight which is the end of 520 and the beginning of Avondale Rd. NE at Union Hill Road. Turn right onto Union Hill Rd and go about a mile through the industrial area to the first true cross street which is 196th Ave. NE (you'll see a yellow diamond sign with a cross showing upcoming intersection.) Turn left onto 196th Ave. NE. The office is the second property on the right less than 1/4 mile, called "Health Within". The sign was recently taken down during construction of new drainage system and may not be back up yet. Look for the Western type arch entry (two poles with a third pole across the top) Go down the long gravel driveway to the parking lot. First house on left is the clinic owner's, Kathy Steeh, and the building next to it is the clinic (ground floor).
