How long have you been in business?
30 continuous years in the art and science of marketing, the last 12 of which as principal and creative director of my own firm.
What is your primary product or service?
Broad and deep experience in every possible facet of marketing communications strategy and design
How did you first become interested in your line of business? (if owner) - What is your background? (If owner or store manager)
I was intrigued by the potential commercial power of the juxtaposition of psychology, composition (expository, poetic and journalistic), art and communications media.
How do you differentiate yourself from other businesses in your category and area?
First, I have a rare blend of high artistic sensibility (creative) and disciplined analytic (strategic) thinking, with a commitment to the point of it all --- commercial success in the unique arena that is our free market system. Second, my experience is both broad and deep. I have arguably served more clients in business-to-business, high industry and leading-edge technology than perhaps any competitor yet won awards for personal performance in all critical disciplines of our craft --- design, writing, creative direction, and program/project management. Finally, I am effective up and down the corporate structure, whether presenting to and consulting with CMOs and CEOs, or rolling up my sleeves to meet deadlines with individual producers.
How many locations do you have and do you have plans to expand?
Byzintek operates from 250 sq. feet of office space in my home just south of the I-90 technology corridor between Bellevue and Issaquah, with computing hardware, software, printing and production tools far surpassing those of the advertising agencies and corporate in-house support services firms for whom I used to work.

Driving directions to Byzintek, 15843 SE 47th Street, Bellevue, WA 98006-3264: > Heading south from Bellevue or east from Seattle, take I-90 east towards Issaquah. > Take the 150th St. Exit at Eastgate. Stay right on the exit ramp to the stop light. > Turn right on 150th AVE SE and proceed to the stop light between the gas stations. > Continue through that intersection and head uphill on 150th AVE SE. > Come to the stop light at NEWPORT WAY. > Continue uphill on 150th AVE SE (aka as 148th PL SE as it winds uphill). > Turn LEFT at the blinking stoplight, onto SE 46th ST -- go 0.1 mile uphill. > At the stop sign, turn RIGHT on 150th AVE SE -- go 0.1 mile, continue uphill. > Turn LEFT on SE 46th WAY at the entrance to “Whispering Heights” -- go 0.5 mile (As you proceed on SE 46th WAY, you will go by a ravine where the road is divided by a landscaped strip, then uphill, then past a concrete “roundabout” designed to slow traffic and onto a three-way, stop-sign-controlled neighborhood intersection.) > CONTINUE through the stop-sign controlled intersection on 158th AVE SE and go 0.1 mile (DON’T turn left as SE 46th WAY turns hard left into Collingwood neighborhood.) > Turn LEFT on the dead end cul-de-sac SE 47th ST -- go 0.1 mile > Arrive at 15843 SE 47th ST, BELLEVUE, on your right, with reddish brick, sand-colored siding, taupe trim, and three dormer windows in the roofline.
